CallShield ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Alawode Olayinka, is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This policy explains how data is handled by the CallShield mobile application.
CallShield accesses call states and phone numbers to evaluate them against your spam blocking rules. This data is stored locally in your device's private database and is never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
When CallShield is configured as your default SMS handler, it displays your messages and filters incoming spam. All message processing and storage remain completely local on your device. We do not read, transmit, or store your SMS messages on any remote server.
CallShield transmits a pseudo-anonymous Device ID to our secure licensing server (call-shield-six.vercel.app) solely to check your free trial and Pro subscription status.
Payment transactions are handled securely through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (such as Paystack). We never store or access your credit/debit card numbers or banking credentials.
All network communication between CallShield and our backend is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/SSL). All local data resides in sandboxed Android internal storage.
You can delete all locally stored logs and rules at any time inside the app or by clearing the app data in Android Settings. If you would like your device ID or subscription record deleted from our licensing database, please contact us at the email below.
